About William N. Platzer, CPA, CVA, CCIFP, MAFF, MST

Bill has over 30 years of experience in the field of public accounting with a diversified group of clients. He specializes in accounting and tax issues related to small and medium sized closely-held businesses, advisory and consulting, construction contractors, and professional practices. He also works on a regular basis in the complex areas of litigation support and business valuation. He has testified as an expert witness in the United States District Court and the Judicial Circuit Courts of Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties.

Bill is a Certified Public Accountant; Certified Valuation Analyst; Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional; and Master Analyst in Financial Forensics. He has a Master of Science in Taxation and Bachelor of Science in Commerce - Accounting.

Bill has been an Adjunct Professor at Florida International University, OHL School of Construction, where he taught "Financial Management of Construction Organizations." He has also taught CFMA’s "Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional Overview Seminar."

He has made presentations before the: U.S. Department of Transportation Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization; Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters Florida Gold Coast Chapter; Miami-Dade County Small Business Development Division; Florida A & M University Construction Management Development Program; and CFMA South Florida Chapter.

Bill is a member of the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants; National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts; Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals and Construction Financial Management Association.
